The first digital library at MarkerSpace in Balik Pulau is now officially open to students. It is an initiative by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to set up a high end library with a digital approach for students in Balik Pulau, Penang. MBPP thanks important partners such as MDEC, Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, Penang Science Cluster, the Balik Pulau community, Politeknik Balik Pulau, and Sophic Automation Sdn Bhd that contributed to this initiative. Recently, Sophic Automation has sponsored 3D printers to contribute to the setup of the digital library. We support MBPP’s efforts to promote digitalization,  cultivate more young talents with knowledge of digitalization, and further accelerate the development of Penang, making Penang a SMARTer City.
